Claude Skills (skill.md) for Ad Copy: My 2026 System

Short answer: a skill.md is a file Claude reads and takes into its system. When you later write it a prompt, Claude uses that skill to generate a prompt for you (04:31, 04:44). I paste Claude a link to a resource, for example my mini course on the 5 stages of awareness. I tell it what to use that for when I write ad copy. I save the result as a skill. In every later prompt, I name the skill it should use. I show the whole thing on screen in the video "Jeśli Używasz ChatGPT w 2026, Przegrasz. (Mój System na 10k Dziennie)". I don't show sales numbers from these ads in the video. This is not a promise of results. Outcomes depend on product, budget, execution, market and experience.

Copy the link to the page with the knowledge you want Claude to absorb and paste it into the chat (05:16, 05:22). Then tell it what to do with that knowledge.

What is a skill.md file in Claude?

A skill.md is a file Claude can read and take into its system (04:31). When you then write it any prompt, Claude uses that skill to generate a prompt for you (04:44, 04:48).

In practice you load a method once and then just point to it. You stop re-explaining it in every chat.

At the time of the video I had been using this for almost a month (12:23). For everything: ads, copy, ideas and psychology (00:31, 00:36). I thought it was one of the best things to come out in AI in the previous few weeks (00:18, 00:22), and few people were using it (12:35).

How do you create a Claude skill for ads, step by step?

You need one source of knowledge and a short instruction on what to use it for. My source was a mini course on the 5 stages of awareness that I ran on Discord a month or two before recording (05:06, 05:08). The course is free (05:10).

The output from step 4 is long. Claude added a lot to it (06:50). Read it before you save it (06:47).

How do you write ad copy in Claude with the 5 stages of awareness?

Paste a product photo, describe how you sell it, and tell Claude to use the skill by name. In the video I take an AliExpress product: a jewelry organizer box (07:21, 07:28). At the time of recording it looked to me like a good Christmas product (07:24).

I paste Claude a photo of the product I'll be selling (07:44). Then I write how I sell it, why and to whom (08:26, 08:29). I want to give it as much as possible so it builds the best possible prompt (08:32, 08:34).

The rule: always tell it to use the skill you added (08:08, 08:12). My prompt says it outright: "using 5 stages of awareness" (08:16). That way Claude knows it has to use it for this prompt. In the video you can see it say it's reading that skill (08:43).

I get a very long prompt back (08:51). For each stage, Claude gives the hook, the CTA and which people to use it on (09:26, 09:28).

Which other Claude skills should you build for ads?

At the time of the video I had something like 20-30 of these skills (09:55). I show two in the video, and a third kind goes beyond e-commerce.

A skill from a book on human psychology

A friend recommended a book on human psychology published in 1874 (10:13, 10:18). You can take, for example, a PDF of a book like that, give Claude the link and tell it to absorb all of its psychology (10:29, 10:37). It then uses it in your copy and ads (10:41, 10:43). The goal: ads that work on impulse (10:56).

A skill from Facebook's Andromeda post

Andromeda came out shortly before I recorded (11:07). Facebook published a post showing the whole update: how Andromeda works, how campaigns work to get the best results, and what changed (11:24, 11:30, 11:33).

Copy the link to that post and paste it into the Claude chat (11:36, 11:40). Then tell Claude to use Andromeda together with the 5 stages of awareness for your ads (11:42, 11:47). You get how to build ads for the algorithm after the change (11:53, 11:59), how to describe the product, what photos to shoot for it and how to sell it (12:07, 12:10).

Skills outside e-commerce

I even use this for my diet, for example with a Huberman book (12:43, 12:45). I also use Alex Hormozi's "100M Offers" (12:45, 12:49). Any idea you have, you can put in here so Claude helps you implement it as well as possible (12:57, 13:01).

Claude or ChatGPT for writing ads?

I moved over to Claude, and I use ChatGPT far less than I used to (03:38, 03:43). ChatGPT gave me weird results and wrote nonsense, and its images were sometimes sloppy (03:46, 03:51). Claude is much better for me, and the price is the same (03:57, 04:00). I don't compare specific plans or amounts in the video.

When should you start: before New Year or on January 1?

Now. I recorded the video with 23 days left until New Year (00:00, 01:28). A lot of people told me then that they'd wait for January 1 and start then (01:45, 01:47). My answer: that's not how you do it (01:51). In December people buy Christmas gifts online, and there are post-Black Friday discounts (02:00, 02:06).

Sales don't stop after Christmas either. The idea that everyone has already bought everything by then is, in my view, wrong (02:26). My friends and I call January and February the fifth quarter (02:31, 02:35). A lot of people get money for Christmas instead of things and then buy something for themselves (02:44, 02:53). Add the gifts that missed and the returns: people then go and buy for themselves (02:58, 03:03).

Where do you get the prompts and skills from the video?

I put the prompts from the video on my free Discord (00:46, 00:55). At the time of the video it had almost 1,400 people (00:57). I had announced a Friday call on Discord, and I always record those calls (01:00, 01:06). You join through the community page.
