Bulk Price Adjustment — Collection or Tag Sale in One Command
### oneLiner
Adjusts every variant price across a collection or tag by a percentage or fixed amount, without touching each product individually.
### whenToUse
- Before a weekend sale, to apply a 15% discount across an entire category in seconds.
- After a supplier cost increase, to update margins on a group of products at once.
- After a promotion ends, to restore prices back to their original levels.
### howToRun
```
Run skill: shopify-admin-bulk-price-adjustment
Store: yourstore.myshopify.com
tag: summer-sale
adjustment_type: percent
adjustment_value: -15
min_price: 19.99
dry_run: true
```
### whatYouGet
A CSV file `price_changes_YYYY-MM-DD.csv` with columns: `product_id`, `variant_id`, `sku`, `title`, `old_price`, `new_price`. The CSV is generated even in `dry_run: true` mode — review it before executing the real mutation. Set `min_price` to prevent any variant from being discounted below your cost floor.
### polishContext
If your store prices include VAT, set `min_price` to an amount that still covers the tax and cost of goods. The skill operates on gross prices exactly as the Shopify admin panel does.
### safetyNote
Run with `dry_run: true` first and review the full CSV before committing. Price changes cannot be undone in bulk via the API — each variant must be reverted individually. After execution, spot-check a sample of prices in the Shopify admin before announcing the sale.
